I grew up in a military family. My dad was career Navy and retired from the Pentagon. I enjoy traveling, and I have a "Bucket List" of places I'd like to go. I was married to my husband for 41 years. Together we enjoyed life - both at home and traveling. I enjoy white water rafting, swimming, reading, cooking,gardening, sailing,and vacationing with my family - immediate and extended. I love the hill country as that is where most of my extended family lived while I was growing up. I am a retired classroom teacher who now runs her own tutorial business. Teaching has always been my passion, and I have recently ventured into becoming a certified Dyslexia Therapist. I have 3 grown sons and 2 grandchildren. My current companion is a 2 year old Springer Spaniel named Huckleberry Finn (Huck for short). I am energetic, but I also love to sit and enjoy a beautiful sunset while sipping a glass of wine.
