Well, I will begin to describe myself by using a favorite saying which is: "You never dim the light of your candle by lighting that of another." I am a person of character who is caring and compassionate; loving, tenacious, goal-oriented, positive, and have a good sense of humor. I am also married with 4 grown children not in the home. My wife has a terminal illness and has encouraged me to do this because she "wants me to have a friend when (she passes)" I am a Christian. I like the mountains, traveling, long walks (especially in the Fall), cuddling and holding hands,cooking, camping, & nature. College graduate. I like to read, dance, and I feel comfortable in blue jeans or a tux. I am nostalgic, but like new experiences as well. I like debating, but not arguing, and am flexible in hearing the opinions of others. I like animals, especially dogs. I retired from the U.S. Army following 32 years of service and was an Army nurse for 16+ years. I am an Aires and pretty much follow those traits; however, my other saying is, "You can't pass on wisdom to others unless we are pursuing it ourselves." Life is a journey.
