Believe in moderate exercise and a healthy diet without being obsessive. A non-smoker and no smoking allowed in house or vehicle by anyone. My significant other should enjoy nature and seeing animals in their native habitat. Dogs have been described as "man's best friend" for good reason. There are many breeds and mixed-breeds, small and large, who can capture your heart but nothing can take the place of a woman you love. That is why I am here.

About a year ago I received a phone call from my former secretary (business in Houston, TX). Her daughter received her medical degree and was doing an internship at Shands in Gainesville. At the close of our conversation we were both laughing. Her last comment was, "One of the things I love most about you is your positive attitude". During the Carter Administration she saw me lose a small fortune along with many others, especially in cities where oil played a pivotal role in their economy (Denver, New Orleans and especially Houston).
