I was widowed over a year ago and moved to Calgary to be near my daughter and her family. It was a good move. l didn't think I would Iike Calgary but I do. It's a friendly city and I like the vibes. After a year and a half on my own, I think I’m finally ready to start dating. I like to dine out. I love concerts, the Symphony, any Opera by Puccini, and movies. I haven't been as active as I should have been lately and so would really like to start going for walks. I love to dance and it would be great to find someone to share that interest. I love traveling. A nice relaxing beach vacation can be restorative but I am more into visiting countries on my bucket list and exploring as much as I can. A few years ago, I visited several counties in Asia on my own for a month at a time. I would sometimes stay in a nice boutique hotel to recharge but the very best times were my stays in dorm rooms in youth hostels. I met so many people and got invited to go along to adventures I would otherwise not know about. I was a flight attendant for 30 years and loved my job. It was great traveling to other countries, but the normal lay over was never sufficient. So, I am doing more traveling now. I just returned from a visit to Lincolnshire to visit family and am currently planning a trip to Jerusalem in October. I think it could be fun to start dating again. I would love to meet a confident man with a good sense of humour who hasn't let age overtake him.
