I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, snowmobiling, camping (in style), cycling (non-motorized), hearing and creating music, dogs, bonfires, comfortable clothing (especially shoes), singing duets (accompanied by a female voice), satire, irony, polemics, communing with nature, being smitten, with the feeling being reciprocated.
I am recently widowed, after spending the last 44 years with the best friend I’ve ever known. I didn’t see it coming, standing alone might be fine for a steeple, but it doesn’t work for people.
Not this one anyway.
I haven’t been sexually active in quite some time, but I’d like to be.
But, the emotions that I share with my partner are of primary importance to me.
I’m still mourning and grieving my loss, so I’m a little melancholy.
But, I hope to have another opportunity to find someone who I can devote myself to make smile, and laugh, and know- “he loves me”.
I am not religious, and I am not a democrat or a republican.
But, I am single, and looking for love.
