I am a honest sincere person..very down to earth. I enjoy each and every day rain or shine. Keep busy most of the time, but I do love to read, garden, walk and dance. I love going out for supper, have a glass of wine and a good chat. I tend to be a bit shy, but once I get to know you, then I'll be your best friend if that's what you are looking for. I love to travel, have been to Ireland recently, also toured some of Europe with family members, spent a few winters in M.B...loved it. Have travelled to FL. a few times.I don't usually follow the crowd, like to do my own thing and am comfortable being alone, but it's always nice to have someone to share what's meaningful in life. If you are interested in a no-nonsense type of gal, then here I am. I've been retired since awhile, but did work in a busy financial institution. I am now widowed, so have time for just about anything. I also have one adult child who lives in another province, so I don't see a lot of her, but we are close and in touch everyday. I love nature and animals, especially cats. I have no pets at the moment. Detest smoking so someone who enjoys it would never be a match for me. I like to knit, quilt and make cards, although my hobbies have been on hold since awhile. I do plan to get back into it soon. I love to dance and find it a good way to meet others. I also enjoy going out for cioffee and shopping.
