I am an active person who likes golfing, bowling, biking, motorcycling, walking/hiking, swimming, family gatherings, church functions, community volunteering, CMA, etc. Believe it or not, although that sounds like a lot, I can still find lots of time for the right man.
My priorities are: God, spouse, family, clients, church/friends, community . . .
Compliments I have received include "You are: warm, funny, energetic, loyal, real, cute, kind, understanding, generous, compassionate, soft, affectionate, open, spiritual, refreshing, bright, interesting . . .", "you have beautiful hair", "you really know how to shut down a guy who shouldn't be flirting with you," "there's no possible way you're that old", and my favorite: "You look especially nice today."
I was raised around men, so I am actually a little more comfortable around men than women. That is probably because I don't usually have to check myself for stab wounds or cat scratches after I've been with them.
Still, I have become a little on the picky side when it comes to the men I hang about with. I tried to hang out with guys I wouldn't consider marrying, but they couldn't understand that friend status, were looking for more, and left rather unhappily. Therefore I won't accept a date for a round of golf, bowling match, pity motorcycle ride, etc. with you unless you understand at the outset that that's all I'm interested in and agree to it. If you're looking for more, you'll have to be at least 5'9", no more than 30 pounds overweight, God-loving, active, compassionate, understanding, romantic, fun-loving, intelligent, a nonsmoker and non-substance-dependent gentleman who knows when to be serious but looks for the jokes in life. If you're is seeking a female friend with possibilities--that's possibilities, not benefits--I'm open. If you have experience with fundraising and/or marketing and/or databases and would be interested in helping me in a non-profit community services ministry, that would be a HUGE plus (a miracle in fact). If you're retired military, bowl, golf, or ride a motorcycle and you're willing to let me tag along, you'd be ahead of the pack . . . assuming there is a pack . . . which there probably won't be . . . ;^>

At first, just friendship dating. If a relationship develops, it will be because you have goals and a plan but you're not OCD; you continue to assess your plans and tweak them. You have a relationship, however shaky you may think it is, with God. You're confident but humble--they're not mutually exclusive. You're looking for a friend and soulmate first and whatever grows out of it afterwards. Start slow and see what happens.
You understand that we don’t have to be identical twins to love and respect each other. You understand the inequalities people face that might cause them to have a hard life and trouble supporting themselves for a while. You love God so much for what He’s done for us that you want to at least attempt to bring a smile to God's face. You want to know God and His plan better and enjoy Bible study. You have a great sense of humor, you're playful and even a little mischievous, but not a practical joker. You love learning and have an open mind. You want to do meaningful things as well as fun things, and you want to do most of them with me (grin). But you're happy by yourself too, not jealous of my volunteering, family, or client time.
