An Ideal First Date Would Be

We plan to meet at a café or a lounge at 11:00 to spend a little time getting to know one another over either drinks or coffee, maybe lunch, her choice. I get there early and get a table in the corner by the window where we won’t be bothered. She arrives and I get her to tell me her story. (Everyone has a story: How they became the person they are, how they got to where they are in their life, where they want to go from here, etc. The story is very important). Then she asks me whatever she wants or needs to know about me.
We then take a stroll down the street, or the beach, and just generally converse about whatever interests us at the moment, and eventually we decide what we want to do next. We may decide to go to dinner, or go to Laughlin and gamble, or we may decide to take a cruise to Catalina (or Hawaii?), or we might just hang out together for a while.
In any case, this being the ‘ideal’ first date, we hit it off perfectly and both of us are very satisfied.
