I am a retired, professional and attractive female who is young at heart and young-looking. Originally born and raised in NY and have lived and worked in NC. Cleveland, and in the DMV. I have been fortunate to travel globally and domestically through my jobs and personally. I like to have fun, still has a little girl inside me. I like traveling, nature and out-of-doors activities, reading, politics, social justice and community activism, dancing ( I teach line dancing). I like cooking and hosting dinners and get-togethers for friends, like movies a lot, cruising, hiking and adventure ( I recently went white water rafting). Sometimes, I like to be quiet and alone but I also value quiet time with my companion. Thoughtful, simple little things make me happy.
I'm seeking nice, thoughtful gentleman, nonsmoker, who is searching for a nice female for companionship. I seek a gentleman who is college educated, politics are liberal, likes to dance and go out, likes to have fun, family-oriented and likes children. One who also likes to just sit and talk, watch news , likes forums, likes to be involved in the community.
A first date could be somewhere fun like Dave and Busters, a picnic, going for a walk in the park or near a lake, coffee shops, book stores, farmers markets, odd places that one would not ordinarily think of. Traditional places, movies, eating out are also appealing.

A few months ago, I experienced White Water Rafting. It was fun and exhilarating. I have always wanted to travel to Tuscany on a cooking and wine tasting adventure.
