Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a 71 years of age. A widow & a proud Australian. My lifelong passion has been writing & still is albeit it short stories, pieces for local rags or simply blogging. Whilst I enjoy most sports equestrian sport is the only one in which I have have been am active participant from childhood. Dancing, music (most genres), reading & a little gardening are part of what keeps me fully occupied today. Travelling is something I have always embraced with fervour. In fact it was on my first prolonged overseas trip in the early through to the late 1970 & 80's gave me a serious taste of the love of travel. I am ,politically a Conservative through & through & have participated at grassroots level , but am not adverse to change for the betterment of our fellow citizens. Do not consider myself to be materialistic nor unimaginative. On a more personal level I love to laugh & can be spontaneous & intuitive. My late husband was a police officer for most of his adult life who instilled in us a love & respect for the law. He was also a 'people person' & tried very hard to help me overcome my innate shyness. I adore witty conversationalists, smiling ,laughing humourous, bantering people with mischief in their eyes. But also a side of them that is compassionate, warm, kind, generous of mind & spirit, scrupulously honest, understanding, gentle & with a genuine love of fellow human beings. If I have waffled on here & bored u to tears please attempt to put it down to nervousness as this is my 1st time on this type of site & I am still questioning my judgement and sanity !!! :-)
