I am an honest, trustworthy, faithful, compassionate, and caring woman in search of my new best friend. I am passionate about developing an emotionally intimate, long-term relationship with a man who cares enough about himself to work at maintaining his health; who is emotionally available, kind and gentle; and who knows how to treat a lady. I began learning to play golf in 2005 to spend more time with my late husband. After retiring in 2011, I began learning pottery, knitting, and how to grow orchids. I enjoy playing golf and would continue golfing if my new partner were interested in that. He would need to be patient because of my limited skill level :-) . I am a good cook and enjoy cooking for and with my partner. I enjoy entertaining for family and friends. Travel is something that I wish to do more of. I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting Italy, Scotland, Norway, and Iceland. In recent years, I’ve been on a few cruises and enjoyed the whole experience, but would enjoy that more with a new partner. Most of my domestic travel has been for family visits but also for work. I am a retired researcher and professor of nursing, having presented dozens of research reports around the country. Although I loved my work in various roles over 43 years as a nurse, I am thoroughly enjoying retirement. People notice that I have an upbeat personality and am fun-loving and a positive thinker. They also notice my youthful face, curly hair, and dark brown eyes. I have been told that I look younger than 70.
