Me describiría a mi mismo como

Healthcare executive about to enter empty nest as daughter heads off to college. Ready to spend quality time with quality guy! I am not caught up in what I do for a living...it's a great creative outlet but I am looking forward to the day when I can list retired on my bio! :) I don't care what you do for a living as long as you can support yourself so I don't have to. I travel internationally with my job and have lived overseas but I have to say that the San Diego area is certainly paradise! Just moved here one year ago and still exploring. I have a lot of interests but am really a pretty simple gal who grew up in the midwest, lived a long time in the South and who appreciates fresh cut flowers from the side of the road, fabulous sunsets from my back yard, puppy kisses, the wind from a sail boat, car or motorcycle messing up my hair. I have written and had recorded a country song (although I only sing in the shower), I have jumped off mountain tops with a zip line many times and hated that first step off every time! I raised an amazing daughter who is off to UCSD in the fall. I love my Kindle and Indiana basketball (I'm a Hoosier at heart). My golf game is really bad....I usually am much better at driving the cart but I do love those beautiful courses. I have a pair of cowboy boots and I have great dress up heels. Your pick. LOL

I own my own home and am getting it redone bit by bit. It is only 8 minutes to the ocean and I spend a lot of time out by the pool and spa, watching fabulous sunsets from my backyard. I would love to share that with someone special.

I tell the truth, keep my word and expect the same. My favorite saying is "life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away." I have been really fortunate to have had a lot of those kinds of moments so far in my life and I am hoping to have a bunch more. I bet you have had a few as well. Let's meet and share stories about all the moments that took away our breath and if we are lucky, maybe we will find a few together!

I kind of look at life as three phases. Phase 1: Up to age 35 - just beginning to try some things; Phase 2: 35-60 just beginning to figure out some things, making mistakes and learning from them Phase 3; 60-95 finally putting it all together to make the most of it. So, I'm entering the "finally putting it all together to make the most of it phase" and plan to do just that!

Kindness, sense of humor...someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Someone who doesn't sweat the small stuff. Can make decisions and can even make plans from time to time. Has a positive outlook on life. Seeks new experiences and opportunities. Southern gentleman helps (hey, I did live in the South for a long time :) Gives great hugs, likes to hold hands. And, of course, The kiss is a very important indicator of chemistry, which we all want right? Must be able to support oneself. Would be great if cooking is a hobby....:)
