I am a writer, editor and zoologist. I am also a musician, poet, singer and present a mildly peculiar webTV show about mystery animals on YouTube. My wife died of cancer nearly 4 years ago, and although I am not one of those irritating people who say that they cannot live without somebody in their life, I am increasingly lonely. I have a very childish sense of humour and it has been suggested that I am a 12-year-old boy in a 64-year-old body. This is not necessarily something I am going to argue about. I am in very poor health, and I am in a wheelchair a lot of the time, but I am fun, loving, I like live music and the countryside, and I like going to historical places, especially if they have a resident ghost. I live in a large, but tumbledown and haunted house in North Devon. I have two stepdaughters and a granddaughter, and I love them all. But I still have plenty of love to give. And by the way my cat is called Lilith Tinkerbell.
