I'm retired & a widower for 8 yrs. I've been a bit of a hermit but would like to find someone to help me get out there again. I am looking for a long term relationship but not looking to remarry.
I'm old school, a veteran, & politically conservative. I feel God's church is in nature, not man made. I like most things outdoors, including walking, fishing, hunting, shooting, sitting by a fire, grilling, watching sunrises/sunsets, & exploring back roads. I enjoy spending time with family, working with my hands, DIY, TV and movies on the couch. I cook, (not great at it but practice makes perfect) I eat what I cook, even when it's bad - incentive to get better at it. I like slow dancing with someone special but I do have 2 left feet.
I'd like to meet someone sweet, warm, loving, beautiful inside & out, & a country girl at heart. Sure hope you're out there. A lady should be treated like a lady. I open doors, hold hands, & show affection, even in public.
I'd rather read the comics or a magazine than a novel. I'm not a big drinker but I prefer beer over wine or hard liquor.
