I was born in this area, lived in NYC and LA. I know a little bit about the movie business, who doesn't if you live/lived in LA. I can be very social, “work the room” as it is said,I also am very down to earth , I think that maybe why I can “work a room”. I can go up to anyone and talk to them without fear. Sometimes the conversation evolves into a conversation that seems like we've known each other for a long time, even though we just met. I don't have to” work the room”, however, to enjoy myself. I can be very "behind the scenes". As I get older I prefer more outside of the limelight situations. I can turn it on and work it though, if that is what I choose to do. I have come to the conclusion that “working the room” takes a lot of energy. To be behind the scenes is nice sometimes, less demanding, more peaceful. Being one on one does have advantages. I am very open person with everybody. However, someone special in my life will know everything about me, which in turn I will know about them. The two relationships I have been in, one for six and one for five, have been very deep and soul full. We told each other everything. Everything. I enjoy that kind of special person, having everything on the table no matter what the other person might think. No filtering. The two men I was involved with were not open people when I met them. I became the closest person they ever knew. It will probably always be true. Over the years though, because I was so open, they too became very open and we became connected on every level. I feel happy that I was able to bring that closeness into their lives. Each had their own reasons for being disconnected from their feelings. With me though, you have to be connected and share, over time, everything that is going on in your head. Take Care, James

That is very hard to pin down. I would like to find the man attractive, down to earth, open and honest, secure about who he is. He also would take life as it comes, have time to do things. Being friend foremost and liking the same things. Opposites attract may be true, the effort to constantly compromise is not something I am looking for, the more alike we are the better.
