Reading, Photography, editing photos, woodwork, metalwork, fixing things (hate painting) discussing life's challenges. Teaching basic principles of christian counselling. Spending time with good friends, surfing the net. Eating out, Cinema.Sailing, walking, hiking. Enjoying nature.
I would like to spend most of the time in the bush or at the sea. However that is not always possible so I like to do the things that are necessary at home. Reading, Photography, spending time with friends, surfing the net. At the end of the day I would like to cuddle up to my partner so to speak, each doing their own thing if possible. Go out for dinner, watch a movie, go for coffee or a glass of wine and chat about life (and death), the whole spectrum. Scary? Not really, that's life and the way to live it
If I had one wish, I would wish for:
To meet a real soulmate again to spend time together with, who knows herself, accepts herself, wants to improve herself, is elegant, good looking well groomed and still prepared to roughing it (in the bush I mean), no neuroses. Hahaha I want it all and there I blow it!!! It takes time and effort to really get to know somebody. But you asked me didn't you? Don't worry I am rather flexible and forgiving! But please supply a photo with your profile if you are interested! No serious overweight ladies. So sorry.
I know my strengths and hopefully my weaknesses as well. A weakness is mostly seen by other people though.
I am most thankful for the Lord for having brought me this far in life and my past wife who taught me a lot about love, caring and wisdom.
I am thankful for the incredible friends that have supported me through extremely difficult times in my life when my wife passed away.
I love to read personal development, psychology, science, counselling, making repairing things, real handy man.Nature walks, bushwhacking with the camera.
My partner should know that I do not necessary plan for the day. I am laid back. Do take life serious, but not myself too much. I am mostly in a good mood in the morning and during the day. Love my coffee in the morning. Love to discuss the mysteries of life and being human.
Things that are particularly important to me are

2. My friends
3. To have balance in life.
In a relationship I am looking for:
Respect for each other's views. Having very much the same values. Spending time with each other. Being openly affectionate. Enjoy each other's companionship without having the feeling that you have to entertain all the time. Feel comfortable in each other's company. Being able to communicate at a deeper level then just the weather. This does take time and a bit of practice, but everything can be learned. Putting an effort into the relationship. Being really good friends and trusting each other. Forgive and forgive!!
I basically feel at home in any place, but the outdoors in the woods at the sea are the most comfortable for me (As long as it does not rain too much ). Can't really say that I feel uncomfortable anywhere. I feel at home just about anywhere except artificial things like a casino.
I do not like slovenes, loud, aggressive people who are arrogant, argumentative. Do not believe in God. Believe themselves to be superior due to education, position, money or even beauty.
This makes me laugh:
People who have a knack with the peculiarities of the English language. Witty without being sarcastic. I love people who can laugh about themselves. Good clean fun. No slapstick. Clever humor!
Everyone has different passions, such as art, sports, music, family and faith.
