I have been retired for almost 3 years and love every minute of it! However, I have no one to share this time with me, not that I don't have good friends and family around to do things with. My son is in the Army stationed at Ft. Sill, OK as a drill sergeant. He lights up my life whenever he's around. I like to do a number of things -- watch good movies, read interesting novels, shop without having to buy a thing, eat out, eat in, travel, and cruise flea markets and little towns like Nashville, Indiana. I am tall - 5'9" - and prefer tall men. I don't care if you are handsome or not but you must have a great sense of humor, be kind, honest, and true to yourself. If you are not true to yourself, you will not be true to me. If you have baggage and crazy ex-wives, I will not be interested. If you think we'd click, let's write awhile and see how things go. You just never know when sunshine will enter your life and give you a whole new outlook on everything important to you.

Meeting in a public place for either coffee, lunch or dessert. Depending on the meal or drink, head out to a casino, sit and talk to get to know each other better or attend a movie, ideally a comedy. Maybe a walk along the river or a lake depending on the weather. Kiss goodnight and plan another date. Phone call when I get home to make sure I got home safely.

I'm so old I've pretty much done it all! There's nothing holding me back. I'm very truthful and if I don't want to try something new, I'll let you know. For instance, I would never bungee jump or jump out of a plane.

First of all height - I don't like being taller than my date. I realize that may be wrong but it's the truth. Then, I look in a man's eyes because I can tell a lot by direct eye contact. It's either good or bad. A sense of humor is also very important plus heart.
