After being my late husband’s care partner for many years, I assessed my life and decided that I was in charge of my own life and my happiness. Therefore, I take care of myself physically and emotionally. I enjoy spontaneity and new adventures.
When not traveling, i volunteer with Senior Services, take LifeLong Learning courses through Wake Forest University and visit family and friends who live along the east coast. Currently, traveling to Europe is my greatest pleasure because I’m learning about different cultures and meeting people. These experiences enhance and enrich my life significantly.
Movies, music, wine tastings, dining out, farmers’ markets and reading are among my other activities. Looking to add kayaking to my activities because I recently kayaked at Kiawah Island and discovered how much I enjoyed it.
