Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a happy lady who is looking for someone to share some of life's many wonders with. I am now fully retired from employment. I volunteer at a free medical clinic two afternoons a week,(leaves me plenty of free time). I do have salt & pepper hair (never have dyed it) but it shows up dark in pictures so I guess it is more pepper than salt! I am a little shy until I get to know you but I don't play games, I tell it like it is. I have always loved the many festivals in this area and love to dance. I like most music but my absolute favorite is the Swamp Pop(rock n roll) that I grew up with...although I do like to dance to Zydeco and Cajun also.I am an avid reader (love my Kindle) and I seem to be the one in our family who keeps up with the family tree. I guess being the oldest of 7 siblings might have something to do with that. I would like to meet someone who would like to have a friend to talk to and do things with....I do like pets but outside. I am allergic to animals inside. I had an inside dog for 5 years until July of this year.

Doing something with friends and/or family...fishing, camping, cooking out, boat riding. I love to walk on the beach and listen to the waves. Going Cajun/Zydeco dancing or just listening to live music. I like Downtown Alive and the festivals. I volunteer at Festival International in the ticket booths. Staying home is ok also...I don't have to be doing anything to be entertained. I like spending time with my grandchildren some also. I also like to ride on the back of a motorcycle. I like the flea markets and to see historical places, old houses. I love to wonder around the French Market & French Quarters in New Orleans.
