I lost my wife/best friend three years ago and although I lead an active life I miss female companionship - not much fun doing stuff on one's own. I am open to simply friendship or something closer. I am independent and self sufficient and see myself as being loyal, trustworthy, considerate. I keep fit (metabolic age of 66) but am not a fanatic. My interests are walking (the beach particularly as it is on my doorstep) - I cycle, am into DIY, gardening, dancing (mostly jive but would like to take up other styles), I play table tennis, watch some TV, use a computer, read some. I am also interested in society and the ecology. I have travelled widely though not so much since losing my wife. Being an optimistic I have hopes of finding that someone who is reasonably fit and active with a nice nature who is making the best out of life (and doesn't live too far away). So if you are interested and looking for someone to, hopefully, make life better, then please contact me.
