I Would Describe Myself As
Please note I’m 5’9 and smoke, so if your under 6’ and don’t smoke we will be starting at a disadvantage, so you may want to pass. Also I live on the lower mainland so the island is a bit of a stretch. I lived in the mid island area for over 20 years so I might consider it.
I love all kinds of food and music,
I love to cook, but only if there is someone to cook for or with.
I love dancing, going for walks or light hikes.
I love fishing and sailing.
I love to talk as much as I love to listen.
I love to go out for a night on the town as much as staying in.
I love to laugh and have fun.
I love an adventure.
I am rather easy going
I have a good sense of humour.
I am passionate about the things I care about.
I am also very devoted.
I am intensely curious both about ideas and people
I am as good a student as I am a teacher
I try to be honest with myself and others in a thoughtful way
I am just adventurous enough to keep life interesting
So I would like a partner that is working towards:
Being present enough to be aware of my feelings and his.
Being grounded enough to be open to new ideas and experiences.
Confident enough to explore and share those ideas, feelings and experiences.
Is willing to be both student and teacher
Be as passionate as I am about the things he cares about - especially about making our relationship the best it can be.
Thoughtfully honest with out being cruel.
And Isn’t too adventurous that he scares the bejeezes out of me, but adventurous enough to keep my interest.
And there is only one must, except for the height and smoking thing if you would like to pursue me as a romantic partner.
You must be dedicated to monogamy.

It’s called cheating for a reason; you can't be all things to all people all the time.

There seems to be a few terms that get thrown a lot that I think needs clarification
"BAGGAGE" - I call it "EXPERIENCE" everybody has some and I've tried to lean from mine; so baggage is actually a good thing.
PDA's (Public Displays of Affection) - Are great BUT it doesn't mean I want to make out in public - I am adventurous not an exhibitionist.
"BRUTALLY HONEST" - It means - ruthless or cruel with integrity - traits that aren't on my "must have" list except for the integrity part. Just because you can be doesn't mean you should be. So if you mean you are thoughtful but say what you mean - ie frank - then say that.
