An Ideal First Date Would Be
I like to chose a restaurant, usually an expensive one I enjoy (gives him a clear idea of where I stand socioeconomically & and if he’s a no-show, at least I’ll be at a restaurant I like), & we agree upon a time to meet . I always arrive early to make sure the restaurant has my credit cards and understands clearly no matter what my dinner companion says, my food and drink tab go on my credit card (so I don't have to play coy and order the least expensive entree) because, as my description says, I love to eat. I'll asked to be seated in a comfortable booth away from the crowd and ask them to bring my companion to the table when he arrives. I’ll order a glass of wine and wait. I hope when my dinner companion arrives that we can spend a good amount of time getting to know each other over breaking bread together, A nice slow first meeting over an enjoyable meal can be an eye-opener and if I feel safe and he’s of a mind to offer to take me home,( to MY home), that’s a good sign, right?
