I am British, but been here over 20 years and also lived abroad quite a lot. I am happy, fun-loving and open-minded. Busy with too many interests, but I focus on hiking, reading, tai chi, the arts, family and friends. Love British tv and movies, and public television documentaries. I'm a lifetime learner but also love to relax. Have traveled quite a lot and love road trips and more adventurous trips further afield, especially to our national parks. Am open-hearted and a good friend, and love to have someone to care for and pamper. I'm kind to myself and others, patient, appreciative of friendships, and find when I help others it usually comes back to me somehow. I like to find some quiet time each day to meditate and stay peaceful and happy. Not always easy when life gets going or when I check out the political situation! But I love to laugh, and look for humor wherever I can. I have two grown daughters who are a miracle to me, and I'm always amazed that I helped create such beautiful beings. And they seem to be my life-coaches these days! There's a baby grandson too, who has just moved with his parents to the east coast. So I’m feeling pretty lonely at the moment.

I don't have a template for you. I just enjoy being with you, and I'm happy to see how things unfold and to learn about the special things in you. I hope you're kind, interesting and open-minded, enjoy doing things together but are happy pursuing your own interests too. You're cultured, like to feed your mind, and enjoy the lighter, fun side of life too.
