In 70 years I've learned a lot about love. Fromm's "The Art of Loving" has been my bible on it.
I've seen the end as I held my Cindy's hand, kissed her and told her I loved her as she breathed her last breath.
I cut the umbilical cords on my two youngest boys as they breathed theirs.
Like Margaret Mead noted, as we age we often have several careers and serial monogamy. I've done both and gained knowledge along the way.
I wear my heart on my sleeve. Having been through some intense personal training, deciding who I wanted to be in my life I wrote my own personal "Mission Statement": "Who I am is the possibility of abundant love and joy for all." THAT is the universe I live in and it's quite a trip!
Grocery stores and other public places are my playground! I have so much fun meeting strangers and playing with them! The child in me meets the child in them and we transcend the seriousness of our lives, sharing the simple joys of the moment, care free.
