Hoping for that same Wave length...

To begin…I’ll say that my sense of who I am rests on my values and principles. I’ve tested them, they work for me and much of the time I’m content to trust them; that is, until some intriguing new idea slips in from a conversation, or some flight of my active imagination, which sends me off exploring!

I always try and accept other people and other ways of thinking and believing; don’t always agree, but…I’m flexible enough to listen to something new and different, or something outside of my comfort zone; if it works for me, I’ll take it in, and if not, I’ll let it go.

I strive to keep my emotional life balanced. I usually experience both the highs and the lows more profoundly than most. Life is just like that sometimes. However, I always try and embrace all of life's emotions, both the joys and the turmoil that life brings our way and certainly enjoy the positive times!

When I take on a task at work or at home, I’m reliable and get the job done. I always try and stay organized, but I’m not committed to it. At home and at work, people know they can rely on me. While that’s a nice feeling, I’m also fully aware that I am something of a free spirit and when this spirit moves, off I go, following the impulse of the moment!

I do enjoy my private time, but don’t like to be alone too much, so I have to reach out and get in touch with someone.

I know you’ll fully agree that both people in a relationship possess strengths & weaknesses. However, what’s important here, is how each person makes those strengths and weaknesses work in our favor – that’s what builds the relationship and hopefully builds the foundation both of us would be happy and proud to be a part of.

So, I’m looking for that special someone who can hold a decent conversation, and is able to maintain a healthy sense of humor in this crazy world we live in! Someone who’s patient, IS and knows how to create romance in a relationship, has learned wisdom through the years and can understand the phrase… "life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away". Having the support of someone who’s on the “same wavelength” makes the relationship building much more fun and exciting!

Having said all that -- I’m pretty flexible, a compromiser, not a big risk taker, but very optimistic and looking for someone who, like myself, will need to keep life (and the relationship) stimulating and new.

P.S. I am health conscious; don’t want the alternative just yet ;)
