Basically, I'm a "meat and potatoes" guy and don't experiment in foreign foods. Are "French Fries" a foreign food? Going to Tampa, FL in May for my ship's reunion. I've been to Ireland a couple of times and am hoping to go back - still looking for my roots. Having been a history major, I enjoy short trips in the New Jersey area to historical locations and others sites of interest. I broke my ankle last November so I no longer do "long walks on the beach or boardwalk" but love to just sit and watch the ocean. Only do slow-dancing . At 79 I'm no track star but I do OK. Politically, I lean right. I'm not a gambler or a sports nut but, being from North Jersey, I root for the Giants and the Yankees. I'm a news junky and enjoy music of the forties and fifties as well as classical and good jazz. I'm an easy-going optimist and would enjoy meeting someone with a similar disposition.
